David fled the wilderness of Ziph to the wilderness of Maon, in the Arabah to the south of Jeshimon. Saul pursued him. David heard and went down to the rock and lived in the wilderness, evading Saul, until Saul nearly had him before a messenger interrupted him with news of a Philistine raid. (1 Samuel 23:24-29)

After the battle of Gibeon between Joab the son of Zeruiah and Abner the son of Ner, Abner's men went all the night through the Arabah, crossed the Jordan, and marched all morning until coming back to Mahanaim. (2 Samuel 2)

The sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, beheaded Ish-bosheth and went by the way of the Arabah all night to present it to David at Hebron. (2 Samuel 4)

During Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon's seige of Jerusalem during Zedekiah king of Judah's reign, the Chaldeans were sieging, breached, and headed in Arabah's direction and pursued the king until capturing him in the Plains of Jericho. (Jeremiah 52:4-9)
