Benjaminites
The least tribe of Israel. (1 Samuel 9:21)
Saul searched for Kish's donkeys in the hill country of Ephraim, the land of Shalishah, the land of Shaalim, the land of Benjamin, and the land of Zuph, but found Samuel instead. (1 Samuel 9:3-14)
Abner the son of Ner made Ish-bosheth the son of Saul king over Gilead, the Ashurites, Jezreel, Ephraim, and Benjamin, and all Israel, in Mahanaim. (2 Samuel 2:9)
The young men of Benjamin followed Abner the son of Ner to represent Ish-bosheth the son of Saul against Joab the son of Zeruiah and the servants of Saul at the pool of Gibeon. 12 Benjaminites and 12 servants of David rose and competed, each caught his opponent by the head and thrust his sword in his opponent's side, so the fell down together. Therefore that place was called Helkath-hazzurim. The battle was fierce, and Abner and his men prepared for a stand on the hill of Ammah, but Abner persuaded Joab to cease battle. The Benjaminites lost 360, and David's servants were missing 19 besides Asahel. (2 Samuel 2:12-32)
Beeroth is also counted part of Benjamin. The Beerothites fled to Gittaim and have been sojourners there to this day. (2 Samuel 4:2-3)
The Bichrites followed Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjaminite,
Benjamin and Judah were the two tribes that stayed with David's lineage when the kingdom divided at Solomon's death. (1 Kings 11:35-12:24)
