Rehoboam

The son of Solomon and Naamah the Ammonite, and the father of Abijah. He reigned in Judah in Jerusalem. (1 Kings 14:21) Abijam his son reigned in his place. (1 Kings 14:31) He was in the line of Christ through Joseph. (Matthew 1:7-8)

Under him, Judah did what was evil in the sight of the LORD and provoked him to jealousy with their sins, more than all that their fathers had done. They also built high places and pillars and Asherim on every high hill and under every green tree, and there were male cult prostitutes in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nations that the LORD drove out before the people of Israel. (1 Kings 14:22-24)

There was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually. (1 Kings 14:30)

He was 41 years old when he began his 17-year reign in Jerusalem, the city that the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel to put his name there. (1 Kings 14:21) In the 5th year, Shishak king of Egypt took all the treasures of the house of the LORD and the treasures of the king's house and everything, including the shields of gold that Solomon had made. Rehoboam replaced them with shields of bronze and committed them in the hands of the officers of the guard, who kept the door of the king's house. And as often as the king went into the house of the LORD, the guard carried them and brought them back to the guardroom. (1 Kings 14:21-28)

He was buried in the city of David. (1 Kings 14:31)
