When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us. ~ Alexander Graham Bell
When purpose feels questionable, and you aren't capable, your strength fades, as you waver like the field's blades. Feeling so much to be void of feeling, crying tearless staring at the ceiling, trapped in a circle of promised change, while realizing you're poisoned by regret's fang. There is something you need to hear, something to spark love's pure tear, stop trying to run so far, you're doing better than you think you are. Jesus came because of His deep love for you, You matter more than you think your do, stop trying to be this and that, just be His, it's less about you than you think it is. ~ Jake Provance, inspired by the Steven Furtick sermon "The Most Encouraging Message You've Never Heard"
We all have regrets. Don't let regrets have and control you. No one deserves God's help, but by His grace, He made it available to us. If you feel ashamed, hopeless, unworthy, or inadequate, regrets may bar the doorway of your future. Get up and brush yourself off. God forgets your sins when you ask, so do the same. Mistakes, failures, and missteps are a part of life, but regrets don't have to be. You are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. He can restore anything I've lost.
