Alexander

Alexander the Great

(356-323 B.C.)

The protagonist of the Korean-Japanese animation Reign: The Conqueror and (as Iskandar) Rider-class Servant of Waver in Fate/Zero. I think he's my favorite historical figure to be characterized in anime lol.

He spread Greek culture and language throughout the eastern half of the Mediterranean, ended the Persian Empire, destroyed Tyre and the Phoenicians, was taught by Aristotle, and recognized his own biblical prophecy.

When Alexander the Great died in 323 B.C., his empire was split up among his four generals. Judea was given to Seleucus I then was annexed by Ptolemy of Egypt in 320 B.C.
