Moab

Saul fought all his enemies on every side, including Moab, when he took kingship over Israel. (1 Samuel 14:47)

David left his father and mother in the king of Moab's care at Mizpeh while he was in the stronghold until the prophet Gad told him to return to Judah. (1 Samuel 22)

After receiving the Davidic covenant, the LORD gave victory to David wherever he went. David defeated Moab and measured them with a line, making them lie down on the ground. Two lines were put to death, and one was spared and became servants to David and brought tribute. (2 Samuel 8:2) King David dedicated the silver and gold from the nations he subdued, from Edom, Moab, the Ammonites, the Philistines, Amalek, and Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah. (2 Samuel 8:11-12)

Jeremiah prophesied its destruction, that its god and priests and officials, its cities, its glory, and riches would fall.They are broken like a vessel for which no one cares. Terror, pit, and snare are before them. Yet He will restore their fortunes in the latter days. (Jeremiah 48)
