Seraiah the son of Neriah, son of Mahseiah

The quartermaster during the 4th year of Zedekiah king of Judah's reign. Jeremiah wrote all his words concerning Babylon and had Seraiah read them in Babylon, pray, tie a stone to the book, and cast it in the midst of the Euphrates then say Babylon will rise no more because of the coming disaster. (Jeremiah 51:59-64)
