Acquisition of Knowledge

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; / fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7)

If you receive the words of Proverbs, make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding, call out for insight, raise your voice for understanding, seek it like silver, search for it as for hidden treasures, you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. (Proverbs 2:1-5)

Out of the Lord's mouth comes knowledge and understanding. (Proverbs 2:6)

Rejection of Knowledge

Fools hate knowledge and do not choose the fear of the Lord. (Proverbs 1:20-33)
