And God said, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.” So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. - Genesis 1:20-21
Sea creatures were created on the fifth day. (Genesis 1:22-23)
God blessed the sea creatures, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” (Genesis 1:22)
God changes man's relationship to fish
God placed the dread of man upon every beast, bird, and fish and gave all of them to man as food. However, he must not eat flesh with its blood.
For man's lifeblood, He will require a reckoning, when it is taken by man or beast.
(Genesis 9)
Jesus heals crowds then feeds them with but 7 loaves and a few small fish
Jesus walks beside the Sea of Galilee and climbs the mountain to rest. Great crowds came to bring lame, blind, crippled, mute, and others to His feet, and He healed them. They wondered and glorified the God of Israel.
Then Jesus called the disciples to him and said, "I have compassion on the crowd because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat. And I am unwilling to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.” The disciples said, “Where are we to get enough bread in such a desolate place to feed so great a crowd?” Jesus asked, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven, and a few small fish.”
Jesus directed the crowd to sit. He took the seven loaves and the fish, and having given thanks he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. They four thousand men, besides women and children, ate and were satisfied. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces left over. And after sending away the crowds, he got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan.
