Beth-shemesh

The Philistines feared the ark of the covenant they had captured, so at the advice of their diviners, they sent it on a new cart with two milk cows who never had a yoke to the field of Joshua of Beth-shemesh. The Levites there set the golden figures on the great stone that was there and used the cart to make a burnt offering of the cows. 70 men were struck for looking upon it, so it was sent to Kiriath-jearim next. (1 Samuel 5-6)
