Language

And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another's speech.” - Genesis 11:6-7

Translation asks, "What did it say?" Interpretation asks, "What did it mean?"

Cosmology

Breathing involves the ability to speak. It is a vehicle of language and information.

Language separates humans from animals in biblical cosmology. Adam alone can unite spiritual principles and corporeal facts with language through his spirit/breath, prominently in his first duty of naming the animals.

Tower of Babel

The whole earth had one language and the same words. The Lord saw they were one people as they built a city and a tower and that nothing they propose will be impossible for them. So He confused their language and dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth. (Genesis 11:1-9)
