Recipe
Even if you have a sharp mind or are young or whatever, always write down the recipes you make up! Even if you make it almost every day!! This is my favorite food and I got cancer and forgot it and I am so sad!!!! Please take my advice and live your life without regrets.
This took years of almost daily experimentation in college plus a few years after college to perfectly suit my preferences and now I have to figure out all the quantities again. And I have cancer lol so I have like zero energy for that.
Serves 2.
- frozen spinach
- 1/2 tsp salt
- whole garlic cloves or 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp squeezed lemon juice
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp molasses (I don't remember how much tbh. It's bland without enough, but too much is overpowering.)
- 2/3 cup quinoa. if it's too pricey, cut with wild rice
- half olives
- feta
- diced tomato
- mint
- chives
- marjoram
- thyme
- rosemary
While Boiling
Add olive oil, juice from a squeezed lemon, garlic, a block of frozen spinach, touch of molasses, salt, onion powder...and some combination of marjoram, thyme, and rosemary idk.
Finishing
Add chives, mint, kalamata olives, feta, tomato,...Then whatever roughage you want to bulk up a salad with, or just leave it as grains.
Notes
You have to be generous with ingredients, or it tastes like no seasoning was added at all. No spoonful should lack green stuff.
If you just want to play it safe, just boil it in broth or whatever, but this is so good if you can get it right. ;-;
