Jesus withdrew into Galilee when John the Baptist was arrested. Leaving Nazareth, he lived in Capernaum by the sea in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali. He called Simon, Andrew, James, John, and Zebedee from the Sea of Galilee to be fishers of men. (Matthew 15:12-17, Isaiah 9:1-2)
