Nahor took Milcah, the daughter of Haran the father of Milcah and Iscah, as his wife.

After the binding of Isaac and the Lord's reaffirmation of the Abrahamic covenant, Abraham moved to Beersheba. After these things, Now after these things it was told to Abraham, “Behold, Milcah also has borne children to your brother Nahor: Uz his firstborn, Buz his brother, Kemuel the father of Aram, Chesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph, and Bethuel.” (Bethuel fathered Rebekah.) These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham's brother. Moreover, his concubine, whose name was Reumah, bore Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah.

Abraham insisted upon a wife for Isaac being found among his father's house and in the land of his kindred, not among the Canaanites. She must come to live in the land promised to his offspring. He had his servant swear to this mission, and he found Rebekah for Isaac in the city of Nahor in Mesopotamia.
