Mourning

Abraham mourns Sarah

And Sarah died at Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan at the age of 127, and Abraham went in to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her. Then he rose up from before his dead and sought out a burial place so that he could bury his dead out of his sight. He bought the field of Ephron in Machpelah, which was to the east of Mamre, for a fair price before witnesses.
