Laban

Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, “The thing has come from the Lord; we cannot speak to you bad or good. Behold, Rebekah is before you; take her and go, and let her be the wife of your master's son, as the Lord has spoken.” - Genesis 24:50-51

Abraham's servant takes Rebekah as Isaac's wife

When Abraham has his servant seek a wife for Isaac from his father's household and in his kindred's land, the servant meets Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel, Nahor's son, whom Milcah bore to him. She offers Bethuel's house for him, as there is plenty of straw and fodder for his camels and room to spend the night.

When Rebekah told her mother's household, and Laban he ran out toward the man, to the spring. When he saw the ring and bracelets Abraham's servant gave his sister and heard her words, he said, "Come in, O blessed of the Lord. Why do you stand outside? For I have prepared the house and a place for the camels."

The servant came in, but he rejected food until he could explain his oath and mission. When he asked whether Bethuel will show steadfast love and faithfulness to his master, so that he may turn to the right hand or to the left, Laban and Bethuel answered, "The thing has come from the Lord; we cannot speak to you bad or good. Behold, Rebekah is before you; take her and go, and let her be the wife of your master's son, as the Lord has spoken."

The next morning, when the servant wanted to leave right away, Laban and Rebekah's mother wanted to delay her travel 10 days. When asked herself, Rebekah was willing to go that morning, so she left with her nurse, the servant, and his men the next morning, and Isaac took her as his wife.
