Havilah


Geography around Eden

Havilah, where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there. - Genesis 2:11-12

Havilah is where the Pishon flowed into out of Eden. It has good gold, bdellium, and onyx stone.

Land

Ishmael's sons, the twelve princes Nebaioth, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah, settle from Havilah to Shur, which is opposite Egypt in the direction of Assyria. (Genesis 25:13-18)

As Saul is called to destroy the Amalekites, he defeats them from Havilah to Shur

Samuel told Saul the LORD wanted him to destroy Amalek and all their livestock. He summoned his forces to Telaim and, after warning the Kenites to flee, Saul and two hundred thousand foot soldiers and ten thousand men of Judah defeated the Amalekites from Havilah as far as Shur. (1 Samuel 15)
