Virgil

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura

A human neophyte who barely knows his own religion, Panarii. He is the first to find The Living One after her zeppelin crashes, and he soon saves her from dodgy men with some clever threats in true shoujo fashion. He takes her to his mentor Elder Joachim. He was converted after a hard time that Joachim pulled him out from.

He feels uncomfortable in Tarant and doesn't like cities. He also has spent his time trying to stay off the Isle of Despair.

Dante's Virgil

Dante's moral guide through Hell.

Roman Poet

Caesar Augustus created a great propaganda machine, including Virgil with his Aeneid and Eclogues which praised his coming, helping him be viewed as a sort of Messiah. Later in Christian history, Christians thought Virgil had to have been informed by the Holy Spirit.
