He has trouble with Jews and Christians. History agrees Nero was the one who set fire to Rome to make it into a city of gold (as many would not sell their real estate to him) and did not send the fire department (Praetorian Guard), but Nero blamed the Christians. He oppressed them in various ways, dipping in tar and feeding to animals. Peter is crucified upside down, Paul is beheaded.
