Homer's wife

Then she shall say, I will go and return to my first husband, for it was better for me then than now. And she did not know that it was I who gave her the grain, the wine, and the oil, and who lavished on her silver and gold, which they used for Baal. - Hosea 2:7-8

Basics

Life

She married Hosea, the son of Beeri, and she had Jezreel, No Mercy, and Not My People. The Lord named her children. (Hosea 1)

She conceived her children shamefully and went after her lovers whom she thought gave her her bread, water, wool, flax, oil, and drink. It was all from her first husband all along. She used the silver and gold he lavished on her for Baal with them. She thought her vines and fig trees were her wages from her lovers. She celebrated feast days of the Baals and burned offerings to them and adorned herself with her ring and jewelry and forgot him. (Hosea 2:5-13)
