Claudius

Claudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. - Acts 18:2

(Emperor of Rome, A.D. 41-54)

In The Lives of the Twelve Caesars, Suetonius records, "He banished from Rome all the Jews, who were continually making disturbances at the instigation of one Chrestus." Chrestus is either an entirely unknown man or an easy mistake for Christus.

The Delphi Inscription was a letter from the emperor Claudius to the city of Delphi.
