Brook Besor
A resting place for a third of David's men while the rest proceeded to overtake the Amalekite band of raiders against Ziklag.
When David returned to Ziklag burned with all people taken captive, he and his men went out to overtake the band. 600 left with him, but 200 were too exhausted to pass the brook Besor and stayed there. When David returned to Besor with all the people and spoils, the 400 thought to keep spoils for the fighting men who earned it, while the lazy men only receive their family back. David made a statute and rule that those who go down to battle and those who don't receive an equal share. (1 Samuel 30)
