Mamre the Amorite's brother
Abram lived by the oaks of Mamre from time to time. Mamre's brothers were Eshcol and Aner, and they were all his allies. When word came that Lot was captured during the War of Nine Kings, Aner joined Abram to rescue him. (Genesis 14)
