Abishag the Shunammite
The young woman was very beautiful, and she was of service to the king and attended to him, but the king knew her not. - 1 Kings 1:4
She was brought to wait on King David and to lie in his arms to keep him warm in his old age. (1 Kings 1:1-4)
Adonijah manipulated Bathsheba to ask Solomon for Abishag as his wife, and the request earned him an execution. (1 Kings 2:13-25)
