Sports
Almost all sports are studies in uncertain, improbable success. Games are rigged against athletes. A good batter in baseball only gets on a base hit once every three or four at-bats. Footballs are designed to be hard to catch and there's a lot of opponents, so receivers are at a disadvantage when catching.
